Mexican fruit cake

On Thanksgiving Day I was baking a Mexican fruit cake. It was really good and my guests said it tasted good. It was the first time I baked a cake. I got the recipe from a friend at work. I like it and actually I just finished eating it for breakfast. I would like to make one again this coming Christmas. I would like to share the recipe here, you might like to make one. It is very easy to prepare.

1 20 oz. can undrained pineapple
2 cups flour
1 cup walnuts
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups sugar
2 eggs

Mix all together and pour into a 13 x 9 pan. Cook
45 minutes @ 350 degrees
Topping: 1-8 oz. package cream cheese
2 cups confectioner sugar
1 stick butter, 1 tsp. vanilla. Frost while hot
