T-Ball practice

My daughter Beth went to a T-Ball practice today with her brother. This is the second time that she went on a practice. She likes to play baseball, but I am worried about her. She is so tiny, but I know she can do it. When she came home she was telling me about the practice and she looks very happy. She showed me about how to hit the ball. I think she’s learning so quick.

practice and meeting

I took my son at his baseball practice tonight with his sisters. Of course, his sisters was just playing at the sidelined, while he was running, hitting and pitching the ball in the field with his teammates and coaches. It as so hot even though it was around seven pm already. I was worried about my son being in the hot field, but he needs practice. The practice lasted for almost two hours. Right after the practiced the parents had a few minutes meeting with the coach and team mom. The meeting was fine, they only told the parents about their concerns for the teams and the kids. As for me, I do not care if the kids win or lose. I know it is nice to win, but I do not want to force the kids. My husband and I keep telling our son to just do his best and all will be fine.

baseball tournament

My son was having a baseball tournament tonight, but I never went because I had to work. My son did not like it, but I had no choice. I like to watch him play baseball, but I have to work too. I told him before he went to the game that I will come tomorrow. Yes, they have another tournament tomorrow morning and I am glad that I am off. My son likes to play baseball and I am very proud of him. Even though it is so hot outside he still able to play the game. When I got home from work he was telling me about the game. He won the first game, but he lost the second game. I hope the will win tomorrow.

T-ball is almost over

My daughters just finished eating their dinner and now I am getting them ready to watch their brother’s T-ball game. He has a game at 6:15pm but they need to be there at 5:30 to practice. Last week they did not have any game’s and this week this will be their only game. They have three more game to go for the season and they will be back next year. I do not like that the baseball season ends so soon. I asked him if he wanted to play football but he said he does not like football. I do not know what other activities he would like to enter this summer. He told me one time that he wanted to learn Karate. Some of my friend told me about soccer but I am not sure if he would like it but we will see what will happens after the T-ball is over.

Baseball is every where

Last year the manager where my husband works gave him two tickets for the Texas rangers games I was so mad because he gave them away to his co-worker. He doesn’t like to watch sports but he forgot that I like to watch baseball game and I would have gone to see the rangers play at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. I know if I really wanted to I could buy tickets and watch them play but they were free tickets, what I can do it was last year so I will just forget it.

It is nice to watch the Texas Rangers play baseball I hope one of this days I can go watch them not only on TV. I do not have to worry about where to buy tickets for the games because I can buy them anywhere like the Kauffman Stadium, American Airlines Center. Baseball is every where and you can get tickets close to you like from the Pepsi Center, New Orleans Arena. Come on get your tickets now and watch your favorite baseball teams.

Better luck next time

While I am doing my business online I am also watching NBA basketball between LA Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. I am from the Dallas area but I do not like the teams but it is basketball so is okay and I like Kobe Bryant anyway. It is hard to watch while trying to make and post my opps. At the third quarter I thought that Dallas would win they were up 9 points. But the Lakers rallied to win especially Kobe, at the fourth quarter they left Dallas behind. The Lakers won again 114 to 107. I do not like the Mavericks but I want them to win. Better luck next time.

congratulation federer

Andy Murray, left, of Britain, and Roger Federer, of Switzerland, pose before the start of the men's finals championship match at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York, Monday, Sept. 8, 2008.

Yesterday afternoon while I was at work I can’t concentrate on my work because my mind is on the Men’s final tennis the match of Roger Federer and Andy Murray. I am crazy but it is true I really like watching tennis especially if Federer is playing. We have a TV at work but all we can watch is cable news and nothing else. So I called my husband and ask him if he can look on the TV to see who won and he put his cell phone in front of our TV so that I could hear it. But before I went to work I already ask my husband to record it for me so that I can watch it later. Crazy right? Anyways, I am glad Federer won and it is his first major title for this year and he is the only man in tennis history to take five straight titles at US open. Congratulation to him and Andy Murray too he did a good job of coming into the final!

tennis women’s final

American Serena Williams (left) defeated second seed Jelena Jankovic (right) 6-4, 7-5 in the women's US Open final for her ninth career Grand Slam title and the world number one ranking.

Tonight while I was ironing my children clothes I was also watching tennis. The women’s single final between Serena Williams and Jelena Jankovic. Serena won the U.S. Open title in six years and become the new world No. 1. The score is 6-4, 7-5 I thought Jancovic would make it to the third set I can’t stop watching the TV. They both played good games but Serena prevail and she deserved it.

tennis US Open

Andy Murray of Great Britian celebrates after winning during his semi-final match to Rafael Nadal of Spain at the US Open tennis tournament at the USTA National Tennis Center in New York City. Murray won 6-2, 7-6 (7/5), 4-6, 6-4.

Earlier this afternoon my family went to the birthday party of my husband nephew who is already a teenager. I don’t know how old he is now but I know that he is in the 9th grade now. I don’t like to go because I am waiting to watch the tennis US Open between Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal semifinal which was postponed from yesterdays rain delay. Anyways, my husband doesn’t want to go without me so, I have no choice but to go with him. When I came back home I checked the net about the results of their match and I found out that Andy Murray won. He stuned number one Nadal so, tomorrow it is the match between Roger Federer and Andy Murray who tries to become the first British man to win a major tennis championship since 1936 at U.S. Open.

go federer go!

Roger Federer, of Switzerland, returns a shot to Gilles Muller, of Luxembourg, during their quarterfinal match at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York, Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008.

Every night I come home from work I kiss my children first then turn on my computer and checked my… no not opps, not my email either I have to checked first the sports news. Because I want to know if Roger Federer still win his game in the US Open. I always want him to win I am a big fun of Federer. I do not play sports but I do like watching them especially if I like the players. In the Tennis world I like him, to me he is the best. I hope he wins this time in the open. At Wimbledon he fell short of Rafael Nadal. Today he beat Gilles Muller 7-6 (5), 6-4, 7-6 (5) to extend his own record by reaching the semifinals at an 18th consecutive Grand Slam tournament. His next opponent for semifinal will be Novak Djokovic the number three seed. This is like a rematch from last year Final which Federer won.

hey roger

I don’t know but I am crazy with tennis today. I can’t do my chores because I have been in front on the TV since 9:00 am this morning. The first thing I did when I get up from bed is start watching tennis. I know it’s crazy but it is true. I am crazy about Roger Federer unfortunately he lost to Rafael Nadal today. I wanted him to win but I could not help him. I wish I could. But anyway, this is the longest game of Wimbledon Men finals at 4 hours and 48 minutes. It is unbelievable but they played very good tennis. Nadal won the first two sets and Roger won the second two sets but Rafael Nadal prevail in the fifth sets.

OMG! I can’t even eat my lunch I don’t want to stay away from the TV and my girls I feel like they want to scream at me and say please mama let us watch the tennis. We like roger too! :-)))

finally

I am happy that the LA Lakers finally won last night. Early on the game I felt nervous and I did not want to watch them because I don’t like to see them lost again. But I am glad they won. Looking forward to their game 6 this Tuesday night and I hope they can win again this time. But right now, I will be watch Tiger Wood on TV with his play off opponent Rocco Mediate. I really like watching sports. :-)))

i am sad

I am sad that the LA Lakers lost again to the Boston Celtics in game four 97 and 91. Now the Celtics are leading for two wins. Next time they play the Lakers will face elimination. I hope they will do anything not to lost again. Because if they lose next time it is the end of their dreams to be champions this year. Next game will be game five on Sunday night if they win then, they are still in for game six so I can watch.
