supposed to be off

Today I was supposed to be off, but I went to work. The manager asked me to work overtime and since I needed money so I said yes. More work is good for me and I like working. Although, sometimes I would like better to stay home with my kids, but I need to work. Anyway, I was helping with my co-working earlier because she was so busy. She was working by herself in her area and their were a lot of customers buying food. I helped a little bit, but it was hard for me to take the orders because her logic controls at the cash register was not working. So we were just doing the manual thing. We wrote down every order we took and it was fine. I did not help her long because I was busy on my area too.
