they are sick

Both of my daughters have been coughing since yesterday and they have a runny nose. So yesterday my husband called their doctor to ask them to prescribe medicine. The doctor prescribed something and my husband went to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine. When he was there they said that the insurance wouldn’t pay for the medicine and if we are going to pay the cost was 200 dollars. Why did the doctor prescribed a medicine for the baby that was not covered by the insurance? Why does it cost so much for the baby’s cough medicine? And I am not sure if my babies would take the medicine. So he ended up buying some over the counter medicine. I tried to give my babies the medicine and they spit it up. They do not like taking medicines.

I hope your babies feel better soon.
